Rosa Wilder has returned to Oberwies, the village where she was born in the Swiss Alps. As a major building project is being planned to bring life back the little mountain community, a murder throws everything in question.

After a triple murder in a small village in the Jura, detective Rosa Wilder has to deal with a deeply saddened village community. The only witness to the drama is in great danger.

The brutal cop Volker caused the death of Soufiane Hamid, who fell from the balcony during a raid. Five years later, officer Volker dies in the same way as Soufiane, but it is suspected that someone apparently assisted Volker.

Rosa Wilder is called in to investigate when Betschart, a policeman from the village of Oberwies, is murdered. It seems the victim was trying to settle an argument in the village pub.
