★ 8/10
A very solid sci-fi/action-adventure show, Colony benefits from producer Carlton Cuse (Lost). The cast, including Josh Holloway (Lost), Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead, Prison Break), Tory Kittles (True Detective), and Peter Jacobson (House, The Americans), deliver great performances with rich character development. The cinematography and effects are top-notch, complementing an engaging storyline. Unfortunately, the series was not renewed, leaving fans with a frustrating cliffhanger. Still, Colony is well worth the watch, despite the unresolved ending.
