The squad

The police officers of the Sant'Andrea police station investigate a gang specializing in robberies in supermarkets. During the investigation, the policeman Tommaso De Rosa, who monitored the movements of the suspects, was killed.

Pietro, Edoardo, Stefano and Sergio follow an important anti-drug operation that will lead directly to the top of a criminal clan. Elena Baroni, following a visit from her father, decides to have dinner with him feeling a rebirth of empathy. During dinner, however, disagreements begin again and Elena turns away in annoyance. A few moments later, gunshots reach Judge Baroni.

A merchant, convinced by the policemen of the Sant'Andrea police station, rebels against the racket while one of the leaders of the Santarcangelo clan is killed. The trial of Carlotta Santarcangelo begins and Fabrizio has to testify. Marisa receives a suspicious fine and shows it to Antonio who discovers it to be fake.

The body of a young Romanian abandoned in the suburbs is found by Walter Battiston. The first suspect in the murder is an operator of the family home where the young man was a guest. Alessia Moretto zealously leads the investigation and, believing she has discovered the truth, she arrests an operator of the foster home.

The agents of the Sant'Andrea police station, distraught with anger and pain for the loss of Sergio, must concentrate all their efforts to bring the killers and masterminds to justice. The investigations start from the last case followed by their missing colleague, who was investigating an organization dedicated to clandestine betting.

Cafasso and Sophie desperately search for their daughter Rosa, who went missing after leaving for Tunisia with her boyfriend. Meanwhile, Giulia and Antonio investigate a scam after receiving a package with unsavory contents.

The atmosphere at Sant'Andrea is tense: Cafasso, awaiting Pietro's transfer, entrusts command of the investigation to Walter, but Pietro refuses to leave the station. Meanwhile, in Barcelona, a dangerous, ruthless drug ring is rife with bodies. Meanwhile, a teacher is injured, and the police investigate his private life, uncovering a connection to a previous murder.

The body of a girl from Naples' upper class is found on a beach in the city. Only one clue: on the victim's cell phone, a message from her boyfriend who arranged to meet her in that place. When questioned by Pietro, the boy says he knows nothing about the message, that he has lost his cell phone and that he has an alibi: at the time of the murder, he was at a soccer game with friends.
