Season 1
The whereabouts of a missing elderly resident of Albert Square is revealed. Arthur and Pauline have a secret that they won’t be able to keep for long. There is trouble in the Queen Victoria pub.
Season 2
1986 in Walford starts with the Fowlers taking a trip to Southend to find Mark. On finding him, one of the first thing he and Michelle realise is they're both now parents.
Season 3
New Year's Day and Lofty is woken by Michelle typing. Michelle kicks out Ian and Wicksy, who both crashed out at the flat, and prepares to deal with her hungover husband.
Season 4
Ethel says her goodbyes in Walford before she moves into sheltered housing. Sharon comes to Simon's rescue when he is left in the lurch at The Dagmar. Ian offers to cook Donna a meal.
Season 5
Ian prepares to see his bank manager for a loan. Mantel tells Joanne that the Firm's outstanding accounts will be settled. Willmott-Brown turns up at Michelle and Sharon's flat.

Hazel tries to persuade Rod to squat in Colin's empty flat, Pauline tries to recuperate from her operation, while Trevor eagerly looks forward to his date with Shireen.

Phil acts disinterested, but Peggy has other plans. Spencer is hooked on Kelly and presents her with flowers, while a hung-over Natalie has regrets.
Season 20
Janine and Barry take a walk in the hills and, unable to hold back any longer, she confesses all. Barry is stunned and pleads with Janine but as he tries to hold her she pushes him and he takes a huge fall off the hill. Janine walks down the hill and as he pleads for his son, she sits and watches him die.
Back at the scene of the bus crash, Kelly is still upset about the events of the previous evening and wants to talk; there's a development between Sonia and Martin; and Tariq confides in Mickey about a secret he's been harbouring since childhood.
Season 21
Jake and Danny continue to get themselves into trouble and after picking up Spencer from the police station, try their best to convince him that they have got rid of the bag and claim to never have known what was inside.
Later, when Alfie catches up with them, the boys try to persuade him to return to a life of crime. Alfie is angry with them but is preocupied trying to find work on one of the market stalls

Deano Wicks arrives in the Square having hitch-hiked a lift in a van.
He wanders around looking for his great aunt Pat and ends up meeting lots of the residents along the way.
When he eventually finds Pat, she agrees to let him stay but is fully aware that she is in the presence of a typical Wicks charmer.
Season 23
Dot makes a shocking discovery about Sonia but will she tell Martin what she knows?

Heather turns detective and tries to find out more about Vinnie's life. Roxy gives Jase some grief for treating her badly the other night. Shirley goes to see Carly and knows she's in a bad way. Mother and daughter manage to bond and Shirley offers to accompany Carly when she goes to see Deano.

Sean contacts Roxy and Stacey as the new year dawns, but what is he planning?

Every time Alfie tries to get upstairs to see Tommy, something stops him. He finds Charlie slumped in a corner, drunk. After sorting out Fat Boy, Kim and the sound system, Alfie finally makes it upstairs.
When Kat arrives home, she’s surprised by the quiet atmosphere in the bar. Excited, Kat bursts into the bedroom, but stops when she sees paramedics with a sombre Alfie, Charlie and Mo. Kat realises her baby’s dead.

As residents of the Square gather round a bedridden Pat, which faces from her past and present will make an appearance, and what will they have to say? Janine reveals a big secret.
